School Uniqueness
- Formed in 1990 by Alcan and Nestlé: IMI in Geneva (1946) and IMEDE in Lausanne (1957), its origins from business sets it apart from the other leading business schools, which are all university-affiliated
- No faculty tenure, only one year contracts on a performance basis and inter-disciplinary faculty
